Holding Grudges Against Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto Will Not Make You Strong But Extremely Bitter; The Minister Is On Course

Quite recently, so many allegations, aimless plottings, diabolic and sheer sabotages has been rained on the industrious and the workaholic Agriculture minister, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto from unknown personalities and political cohorts from the opposition side in order to cause his hard earned reputation into disrepute and the work he does for the benefit of the entire country for granted. It will interest you to know that, when the minister was appointed to hold the position under the NPP government led by H E Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has worked tirelessly to revamp and redeem the image of the Agriculture sector and the ministry at large in this country Ghana.

I want to use this rostrum or medium with the greatest respect to thank the president of republic for appointing such _a great personality, affable, supportive, generous in his nature, competent and passionate enough to man the agriculture sector_ and he is very much aware and optimistic that, the minister will perform and has performed and his presence in the institution has boosted and brightened the sector as compared to the previous years under the erstwhile NDC government and Mahama's administration.

It is highly fascinating that, certain group of individuals hiding from unknown source have just sat down and out of hatred have conspired to plan evil and plot negatively against the minister thereby, picking his picture and labelled on it a diabolic speech ,"In the north, some of these smugglers load fertilizer on donkeys. These animals are able to enter Burkina faso unaided, to deliver the fertilizer. I was there; I saw some of these things blablabla..." and splashed and disseminated them on various media platforms to destroy his hard earned reputation.

Meanwhile, the minister has not stated it anywhere and on any platforms and we therefore, entreat the general public to disregard all those fabricated and concocted stories surrounding those false allegations because, the minister remains resolute to solving the country's major problems so long as agriculture is concern. All these were done as a result of meer and sheer sabotage and also conspiracy theory to cause his down fall. In fact, the man in question one way or the other can be considered the best Agriculture minister and has won numerous awards base on his enthusiasm towards the sector.

If one cares to know, even during the covid-19 era, the minister was able to keep his fingers cross and out of effective supervision, made sure food was in abundance in this country with his good and laudable initiatives such as planting for food and jobs, rearing for food and jobs and planting for export and rural development that remain the current government flagship programme.These without exclusive initiatives awarded the NPP party the second term to retain power in just ended general elections 2020. During the campaign era, this effective and laudable initiatives were on the lips of all the party faithfuls, party grassroots, party footsoldiers, party communicators, party sympathizers and all the Constituency, region and national executives of the NPP party.

To draw the curtain, I want to inform the general public to open their eyes and debunk all those atrocities surrounding the ministry and avoid the unscrupulous individuals trying to black paint the minister and his fantastic initiatives at Bay. Mind you, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto is the only Agriculture minister who has made and can make the sector great as he's started and his achievements can not be underestimated.
