Accra: Man shot dead at Pig Farm

Last Wednesday afternoon, Pig Farm, a suburb of Accra was rocked by the fatal daylight shooting of a 34-year-old man.

The police are yet to disclose details of the man and the incident.

The deceased succumbed to the injuries he sustained in his stomach after the robbers who were riding a motorbike shot him.

The motorcyclists were said to have targeted his backpack but his pleas to them to leave him as he had no valuables in it failed to convince them. They shot him even as he struggled with them briefly.

A Good Samaritan who saw the man in a pool of blood picked the injured man and drove him to the 37 Military Hospital where he passed on later.

Earlier, reports of a motorcycle riding gang shooting near the National Theatre made the rounds in Accra.

On the same day, a video of a shooting incident which was said to be close to the Police Headquarters went viral.
