Health Buffer Stock CEO donates 6 ambulances to 4 districts in Upper East

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Buffer Stock, Abdul Wahab Aludiba Hannan has donated six ambulances to Muslim communities in four districts in the Northeastern part of the Upper East Region.

The ambulances will help avoid the needless lose of lives due to the lack of ambulance to transport referred cases especially pregnant women, children and the aged to hospitals.

The beneficiary districts include Garu District (one), Bawku Municipal (one), Bawku West (one) and Pusiga District (three). The three ambulances for Pusiga are for Kulungungu, Widana and Pusiga town.

Addressing chiefs and people in the Muslim community at Pusiga, Abdul Wahab Aludiba Hannan noted that the donation is in response to a passionate appeal made by the Muslim communities during the 2020 general elections.

Abdul Hannan noted that the kind gesture is out of the little he has to support people in the Muslim community whose welfare is critical to core believes and for others to emulate same.

Mr Abdul-Wahab told the gatherings that beyond the politics, he is enjoined by the Islamic religion to alleviate the plight of humans in need and that the gesture was part of many dreams he has for the people in the beneficiary communities.

He calls for all hands on deck to support the developmental agenda of the area for the benefit of all.

George Atuase, Secretary to the Pusiga Chief expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Aludiba foundation for their continued kind gesture.

Timothy Mahama, the Pusiga District Health Director, thanked the philanthropist for his sole commitment to ensuring that the people of area get the needed health care support.

Whilst giving an assurance to put the ambulance to good use, Mr Mahama appealed to the people of the district to make good use of the ambulance in other to avoid unnecessary breakdowns.

At Bawku central Mosque, the Muslims were very grateful to the CEO for his support always. The Muslims in the Garu District were equally grateful for his kind gesture.

The Ambulances were donated by The Aludiba Foundation, a charity NGO through the instrumentality of its Founder and Chairman, Mr Hanan Abdul-Wahab.

For many of the inhabitants, it was a dream-come-true and lauded Mr Hanan Abdul-Wahab for the kind gesture.

The elated Muslim leaders praised him for fulfilling his promise, saying it was a quality of a trustworthy person to be taken seriously by his or her own words.
