The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has named one Ansu Gyaebour as the killer of the late investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein Suale.

Ahmed Suale was assasinated in Madina in 2019 by two gunmen on a motorbike who shot him in his car.

His death was linked to the release of an investigative piece titled ‘Number 12’ which shook the foundations of Ghana football.

In a war of words with the investigative journalist in July 2018, Mr. Agyapong went on a show on the TV station he owns, the Madina-based Net 2 TV and urged residents to beat up Ahmed whenever they saw him.

A photo of Ahmed was also revealed on the show.

The MP accused the investigator of being corrupt and evil in the wake of his probe into Ghana football.

He also said Anas deserved to be hanged for his purported corrupt deeds.

Subsequently, Ahmed Suale was killed and many were pointing fingers at the Assin Central MP.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Ken Agyapong is seen naming one Ansu Gyaebour as the killer of Ahmed Suale.

He blasted the Ghana Police Service for failing to apprehend the killer of the deceased journalist when they have gathered information they needed to arrest him.

“He is in Kumasi. His name is Ansu Gyeabour. It is the same police who revealed his name to me and showed me a picture of him,” the MP revealed in an interview on New York-based Adinkra TV.

Kennedy Agyapong continued, “He [Ansu Gyaebour] killed Ahmed Suale. It’s been over a year now since the police disclosed that information to me and my name is out there."
