Stop preaching prosperity, focus on love and unity — Pastors told

The General Overseer of Gospel Revival Church of Christ located at Kumasi Sofoline in the Ashanti Region, Bishop John Nana Kwame Boateng has urged his fellow men of God to preach love and unity.

He noted that Christians should focus on the purpose of Christ's death which has brought about unity and love into the world.

The man of God said this in an interview with Modernghana News to climax Easter.

"Jesus Christ died for our sins that signify Agape Love , so I will entreat my colleague men of God to preach about love and unity, than prosperity", he noted.

He stated, "why many pastors today always preach about prosperity, marriage, witches and witchcraft?, Truly some pastors are deviating from the calling, therefore l urge them to focus on what the Bible says basically about love".

Bishop John Nana Kwame Boateng indicated that many Christians are losing focus. "After Christ has risen from death, I think we need to celebrate His resurrection, and there is no need for quarrelling and mischievous behaviours."
