NPP Savannah Region: Minister assures NPP Party footsoldiers of jobs

The Savannah Regional minister has said the New Patriotic Party in the area is working to create jobs for teeming youth in the region.

"We will go every length as far as job creation in the Savannah region is concerned," Hon Jibriel Muazu assured.

According to Hon. Jibriel Muazu, the focus of the second term of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo-led government is on the youth and job creation.

"We have programs and policies that are going to be put in place for the last four years of Nana Addo's government The last four years of Nana Addo's government is to make sure that jobs are created for party's foot soldiers."

Explaining the cause of an increase in taxes on the citizens, Hon. Muazu said the government increased taxes so as to employ more people in the public sector.

"The essence of the government increasing taxes is to make sure that government is able to employ more people in the public sector".

The Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limited, Dr. Braimah Clifford charged the youth to use the right form of technology to contact the leaders of the party to enhance production.

Dr. Braimah Clifford said:

"It is our fault when we are not able to answer your calls. Imagine receiving about 100 or 200 calls a day. What work can you do again that? Always send text messages to the leaders because the person can even read them at night.

All these sentiments were shared at a youth forum organised under the theme "Empowering the Youth Through Job Creation, the Role of Our Leaders" in Damongo.

The youth forum brought together the regional minister, MCE and DCEs, regional and constituency party executives, youth groups, and other stakeholders to share ideas on how to create jobs foot the youth.
