We call on Uganda’s opposition leader to apologise to the legitimate government and people of Venezuela — HCIF-PFS

The attention of the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) condemns Ugandan opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi’s downright subversive support for Venezuela’s clowned, self-declared, imposter president, Juan Guaido.

It would be noted that unless it is compelled to do so, the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) has often resisted joining issues with traitors and treacherous politicians in the likes of so-called Uganda opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi (aka Bobi Wine), as a matter of principle. This is because the Uganda opposition leader has proved times without number his support for unconstitutional and undemocratic change of government in Venezuela.

This move completely exposed the Ugandan opposition leader’s dexterous ambition beyond the wealth and economy of Uganda. Juan Guaido has recently attempted to mislead African politicians, using precisely proxies like Bobi Wine to demonise the legitimate and democratically-elected Government of constitutional President Nicolas Maduro. We oppose such politically-motivated expansions of the Venezuelan opposition in Africa.

It is easy to conclude that Bobi Wine has been a Guaido's political tool in Africa. Outwardly the Ugandan leader pretends to be a promoter of Pan Africanism, culture and identity, but there should be no doubts remaining that he is a neo-colonial puppets who embraces the destabilization of a friendly country (Venezuela) to Africa.

Much as Venezuela is a true friend and ally of Africa in peace, progress and development, it is noteworthy to remind Juan Guaido that he is running a futile mission on continent.

It would be recalled that not too long ago, the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) was forced to expose the gigantic conspiracy to steal Venezuela’s wealth overseas, through concocting wild, tenacious and mendacious allegations against constitutional President Nicolas Maduro and the legitimate and democratically-elected Government of Venezuela. It is actually a wicked strategy and diabolic tactics to demonise the legitimate leader of Venezuela, though in actual fact, constitutional President Nicolas Maduro is the legitimate leader of Venezuela being elected by the Venezuelan people, while Guaido continues to consolidate on the foreign agenda of destabilization of his country.

However, the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) would not allow the serial falsehood of the so-called Ugandan opposition leader and his propensity for character assassination of constitutional President Nicolas Maduro on the basis of the Venezuelan leader’s identity to defend democracy and dignity of the Venezuelan nation.

To wit, the intransigence of Juan Guaido is playing out and his well-known frivolity since 2019 has been a combination of threats, lies, deception, economic thievery and pauperization of the Venezuelan people.

The grouse of Guaido, as represented by Bobi Wine in Uganda, is that of robbing off the Venezuelan people of their dignity and their right to exist, as a truly free and independent nation.

The unassailable truth is that Guaido has never contested nor voted for president in Venezuela. The cacophony of dictatorial tendency that constitute the sing-song of Guaido is a deception, mischief making, a deliberate distortion and devilish strategy of working for foreign criminal adventurers against the peace, freedom and democratic-loving people of Venezuela.

It therefore beats our imagination that Bobi Wine can be so blinded by Venephobia, as to promote anarchy and economic terrorism in Venezuela.

For the purpose of hindsight, Venezuela has over the years been bearing US economic warfare and heinous attacks with patience and dignified forbearance without any foreign media saying something about it. Ugandans must be wondering today what Bobi Wine would have done if he had won elections in their country.

It is against the backdrop of the foregoing that, we, the volunteers of the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) reiterate our earlier call for Bobi Wine to apologize to Venezuela or face court action for using African territories for inciting terrorism against Venezuela and the Venezuelan people.

We want to make it clear, again that, the peace and freedom-loving people of Venezuela will not allow a foreign entity to enter the Venezuelan political stage and impose an unelected figure as their leader. Wine was funded with millions of dollars stolen from Venezuela foreign finances to topple the Ugandan President, Museveni. Bobi Wine lost to incumbent President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni in the January 14, 2021 poll.

Guaido's promised to treasure relationship with Uganda under Wine constitutes international conspiracy to undermine peace and stability in Africa. Also, Wine promised to provide Ugandan territories for recruiting, training terrorist outfits against Venezuela is an act of aggression, which must be condemned by the international community. Recent invasion of Colombia on Venezuela's sovereignty speaks volumes and there is no way Wine can extricate himself from these unprecedented acts of terrorism against Venezuela.

With this statement, we stand in solidarity with all peaceful efforts to address the far reaching consequences of US sanctions and economic warfare against Venezuela and the Venezuelan people.

Down with Juan Guaido!
