Take the risk to go vaccinate - Kwesi Pratt to Ghanaians

Veteran Journalist and Managing Editor of Insight Newspaper, Mr Kwesi Pratt Jnr urge Ghanaians to take the risk to be vaccinated with the Indian-made AstraZeneca vaccine that the country took delivery of on February 24.

According to the well respected journalist, the only way to fight the covid-19 pandemic which has since claimed the lives of more than 580 Ghanaians is to take risk by trying that vaccines.

"If I get the opportunity, I will take the vaccine not because I think it is risk-free but essentially because I believe that in fighting this pandemic, we all have to take risk. If you don't take risk, you can't get ahead of the pandemic," he indicated on 'Good Mourning Ghana' on Metro TV yesterday.

Mr Pratt further indicated that the vaccine presents an opportunity for people to take the risk to prove its efficacy.

"...the vaccine presents an opportunity to take the risk which may in the end prove to be efficacious. So, that's why I personally, if I get the opportunity will take the vaccine," he said.
