We must resist the legalisation of LGBTQ Rights with all our might
22.02.2021 LISTEN

The issue of LGBTQ has rekindled once again in Ghana. The latest development suggests our leadership is not far from been compromised. We cannot allow our country's ethical values, norms traditions, and law's fall for illegality to find solace in our land. The issue of Homosexuality is not Ghanaian and we must not allow it to be our way.

The Political leadership has softened their stands on homosexuality and the opening of their office in Tesano- Accra confirms the government is tied down to resist them. It must be emphasized that culture and in the spirit of law's homosexuality is alien and those so-called evil advocates championing it as human rights must know those rejecting it are doing based on human rights and culture.

As we beliefs in the two dominant Faith; Islam and Christianity, the Qur'an and the Bible shows sufficient evidence of rejecting the practice and prescribed punishment to such kind of satanic practices.

The Qur'an says;

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If you find anyone doing as Lot’s people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done (38:4447).

And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds? (Al-A'raf 7:80).

Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people." (Al-A'raf 7:81).

The Bible has this to say;

Leviticus 20:13 (cf. 18:22) declares it abominable for a man to lie with another man as with a woman, and both partners are to be executed.

It is mind-boggling that, the western satanic agents succeeded in making us criminalize polygamy as sinful and outmoded practice, rather than imposing animalistic practice on us. Political leadership has gone cold, religious giants have gone silent, some media houses are creating a platform to promote their agenda. Suddenly some so-called human rights activists have gotten the opportunity to make their voice loud. We must all mount a strong resistance against homosexuality in Ghana. Parliament must act fast to further tighten the legal realms.

CSOs must be mindful of Grants offered them and the cultural strings or conditions that accompany them. Some are from Homosexual Communities. As a principle, l refused a Canadian grant call that was tiring advocacy for homosexuality to the grant. Ghana cannot allow this evil to thrive. We have resisted the sexuality education curriculum and we must come together and do the same to resist this Satan's among us.
