Parliament petitioned to investigate alleged criminal conduct of Ken Agyapong, Hawa Koomson

A Ghanaian citizen, Mr. Kwesi Dawood has petitioned the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Bagbin to see to it that investigations are conducted into alleged criminal conducts of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson.

In his petition to the Honourable Speaker, he cites the Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyepong for criminal conduct during his ranting on Net TV in December 2020 where he threatened to have houses and properties of some members of the NDC burnt on the back of multiple market fires.

For Awutu Senya East MP Mavis Hawa Koomson, she has been dragged before the Speaker of Parliament for firing a gunshot in her constituency during last year’s voter registration exercise.

Not taking kindly the conduct of the two Members of Parliament, Mr. Kwesi Dawood has petitioned the Speaker of Parliament to conduct thorough investigations and to punish them accordingly.

“…the petitioner humbly prays as follows:

“That the Right Honourable Speaker of Parliament institute a probe into the conduct of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson relative to the above mentioned conducts.

“That the Honourable members petitioned against be made to suffer the necessary punishment should they be found liable for the alleged wrong doings,” part of the petition from Mr. Kwesi Dawood to the Speaker of Parliament reads.
