Beef Up Security around Accra on the Day of Swearing in President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo

Beef Up Security around Accra on the Day of Swearing in President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo
04.01.2021 LISTEN

What makes one a proud son of a country is for one to think about, and protect, the security and safety of one's nation and its citizens. You will never be a proud son or daughter of your country if you fail to introduce, or pass on, the good things that you learn abroad to your country.

One does not travel to the Whiteman's country only to fleece their greener pastures but to acquire knowledge to subsequently share it with his or her home country for the collective interests of their compatriots. Upon this understanding, let me share my observation of maintaining security with respect to protecting an important dignitary who could become a target of attack by a lunatic or group(s) of lunatics.

I have seen in London how the police mount security to protect the Lord Mayors on their yearly procession through certain streets of London within the Square Mile, thus, the financial hub of London. "The route of the outward parade in 2013 was from Guildhall, along Princes Street to Bank junction and past Mansion House. From there the procession travelled down Poultry, Cheapside, New Change, St Paul's Churchyard, Ludgate Hill, Fleet Street and the Strand".- Lord Mayor's Show – Wikipedia.

For specific reasons, I am not going to explain things in detail but I can confess to have had the opportunity to show some police snipers around some needed vantage points in a particular building on the London Mayor's Show route to help them mount their covert security operation meant to protect him.

Why shouldn't I pass the same knowledge and experience to the President and government to ensure that the nation's security agents do same in regards to the impending 7 January 2021 inauguration or swearing-in of President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for a second term of four years in office?

The NDC have resolutely determined to cause chaos to disrupt the function scheduled for the 7 January 2021, upon their frivolous believe that John Dramani Mahama was the one that rather won the 2020 presidential election but not Nana Akufo-Addo hence they will not sit by for Nana to be sworn in. They have since 9 December 2020, when the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Jean Adukwei Mensah, declared the results in favour of Nana Akufo-Addo, taken to the streets demonstrating, burning tyres and allegedly burning markets not only to prevent the swearing-in of the President-elect but also, make the nation insecure and ungovernable for the President and his NPP government.

On 7 January 2021, the security agents must have found vantage points in buildings and places along the route to the swearing-in venue to covertly position their police or military snipers. The snipers should not hesitate to take down anyone that dare approach the President-elect, thus Nana Akufo-Addo, on intent to kill or harm him. There should be no ifs or buts about the specific operational orders to the snipers to shoot and kill anyone that attempts to take out the life of the President-elect when on his way to the inauguration ground.

I have heard, although I stand to be corrected, that the swearing-in will not take place in the open grounds of the Independence Square, the usual venue for such public ceremonies. It is good for security reasons owing to the madness and the criminal intents by John Dramani Mahama and his bunch of NDC murderous criminals doubling as the African version of the "Arabian Ali Baba and his forty thieves"

As always down to earth when communicating with public readers, I will define the verb SNIPE as found in the dictionary for people to better understand the noun SNIPER.

Snipe is defined as, "to shoot at individuals as opportunity offers from a concealed or distant position" e.g. The enemy was sniping from the roofs.

If the swearing-in will take place in an enclosed area like the Parliament House as it's alleged, for security reasons, then at least two sets of stationary "walk through" metal detectors as used at access points in prisons, courthouses, and airports to detect concealed metal weapons on a person's body must be installed at the entrance to the chamber. They must again be supported by security operatives using handheld units with a sensor probe to swipe over the body of those entering the chamber to detect any hidden metals of explosives and weapons.

We should not lose sight of the need for robust security to be mounted that day to negate the hatched disruptive plots by John Dramani Mahama and his bunch of modern-day NDC vampires who are baying for the blood of President Nana Akufo-Addo, Mrs Jean Mensah and other dignitaries of the NPP.

I am tired and feeling sleepy so I shall end here. Nonetheless, it does not take a good ear repetitions or a long time to hear a message. The little I have said so far is more than enough for any serious security expert or operative dedicated to the service of Ghana and the protection of the President-cum-President-elect to understand what I mean.

This is the contribution from the fearless proud son of Kumawu/Asiampa soil towards guaranteeing the safety and protection of President-cum-President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, come Thursday, 7 January 2021, the day of his swearing-in for his second term of four years in office as the visionary President of Ghana to do more for Ghanaians.

How I hope I could one day meet Addo "Playman" while he is in office as the President of Ghana. I hope if I make any move to go and see him to congratulate him for achieving a lot for Ghana, Eugene Arhin and others will not deny me access. Hahahahahaa!
