We Would Not Get To Your Courts, Mr Chief Justice

Without any prejudices to any commentary made by the Chief Justice on the occasion of the launch of the revised election adjudication manual on Tuesday, 24th November, 2020, I wish to assure Justice Annim Yehoah that, we won’t get to his courts to settle any election dispute this time around. By the power of the Almighty Allah and the people of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama and the NDC will win the 2020 elections with the support of the Ghanaian people and without any recourse to court suits and its attendant adjudication.

The Akufo-Addo led administration has lost touch with the people of Ghana way before now, so he and his government have employed several ways of stealing and buying the mandate of the people. They started with packing the Electoral Commission with card bearing members of the NPP whose partiality in the scheme of affairs are conspicuous enough for the blind amongst the blind to see and feel. .

Just like his counterpart in the US, Nana Addo after getting exposed with his agenda with the EC, decided to adopt intimidation through various means to get the choices of voters suppressed. This is the reason why they’ve infiltrated the security set up, got their militants recruited and prepared to perpetrate mayhem and intimidation like they did in Ayawaso. This time, we the people of Ghana are ready to protect our ballots and no bullet of any kind can get us to back down on our resolve.

Only a fortnight ago, we saw a video of some so called police officers seeking to intimidate voters by instilling fear in us. They threaten to beat voters in unapproved uniforms. Nobody has been arrested so far. And we are told to our faces each passing day that they will steal this election and beat us in addition. In all these, President Akufo-Addo sees nothing and hears nothing. And it doesn’t look like we have a peace council or the clergy who are suppose to be our last hope.

Still playing a mind game with Ghanaians, the Chief Justice and his judiciary are trying to make Ghanaians begin to accept that the elections won’t be free and fair. So, on the unlikely event that it happens like in the US with Trump’s fake claims, they are prepared to settle the disputes within 42 days unlike in the past. Well, the NDC will win the polls at the polling stations and not in the court.

Even, without recourse to the peculiarities of the issues that might be brought by any party(ies) to the Supreme Court, we are already told that they will use 42 days to settle all issues. What does the Chief Justice and his supreme know that all of us don’t? Well, coming events they say cast their shadows.

If Akuffo-Addo is preparing our minds to subvert our will through the courts, we the people are ready to have our will sustained through the ballot and not by the whims of some 9 judges. We won’t get to the courts, the will of the people shall be pronounced by their thumbs. Maybe that’s the reason why the Peace Council has not prepared any Peace Accord for the Presidential Candidates to sign like they did in the past.

Insha Allah, the power of the people like it was displayed in the US, is more stronger than any power on earth. From claims of fraud with mail in ballots, to the unsubstantiated claims made by Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani of over voting for which reason Trump went to court, Trump still was removed by the power of the people and not the powers of the Michigan or Georgia Courts.

Somebody should tell Akufo-Addo that, once we the people have decided that we won’t tolerate any more of creating a family generational wealth and state capture, not the EC and it’s NPP appendages, not his militant groups masked in police uniforms and certainly not the packed courts can get him re-elected. The power of the people shall triumph over evil, intimidation and rigging agenda.
