The World Ruler - Part 35

The World Ruler - Part 35
27.11.2020 LISTEN

Unlike during the genocide in Rwanda in nineteen ninety-four the Security Council of the UNO had decided promptly to swiftly send peacekeepers into Ghana ensuring peace and stability on the ground. Massive protests and violence had hit the streets of the Kingdom of Ghana. Protestors and supporters from neighbouring countries even as far as South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia, Botswana, Namibia, Sudan, Morocco, Algeria and other African countries had embarked on their massive protest ready to strike and fight for King Thomas release from prison. They knew it was a cooked plan to turn back the time and punch all of Africa into darkness again. No one had any evidence in his hands though off to the group of evil people behind the false allegations set out against King Thomas. Their anger was visible, was hitting the air of Ghana and beyond. Blood and human sweat were to be smelt in Bergo, Accra, in Lagos, Pretoria, in Dodoma and Casablanca. TV and radio stations broadcasted daily live the events unfolding in Ghana. Special live coverage was taken when King Thomas was driven out from prison to be interrogated in the Police Headquarters in Bergo. Every second or third day an armoured vehicle drove into the underground garage of the prison to take King Thomas out and make him stand before high ranking Prosecutors. The army had sealed off the area around the prison and Police Headquarters. Tanks were placed all the short distance between the two locations safeguarding the process. Angry protesters were kept in a safe distance from the scene. In Accra, Tema, Tamala, Techiman and other major cities of Ghana crowds of people gathered each afternoon in anger demanding the immediate release of King Thomas. The Chiefs and Kings of the country were holding emergency meetings to discuss the situation. They used their powers to investigate the matter and find out behind the scenes what was going on. They signed a petition to release King Thomas immediately unconditionally voicing out their disgust about the action taken knowing for themselves the arrest and removal from the throne were against the constitution and illegal. They stood in no doubt about the innocence of King Thomas from all allegations brought against them. They consulted their Spiritual Fathers, their Pastors and Prophets for advice, for help to look behind the obvious. Some Men of God took up this opportunity to bring their name into the public eye and confused the nation with fake prophecies. Newspaper articles were printed, a special edition published to discuss the fundamental crisis in the country. Even as the Kings and Chief of the land investigated the matter with all their tools and connections, with their spiritual helpers, good or bad, Men of God or Mallams, no one was able to unveil the truth behind the legal way to oust King Thomas. The bits and pieces they were able to get hold off were too convincing, witnesses interviewed on social media were too convincing. They did not see what had caused the problem really as in all their hearts and minds did they refuse to believe that any allegations against King Thomas would possibly stand the test of time but they saw the evidence presented to them still laying in their hands and the testimonies given by witnesses called in their ears.

The head of the National Council of Chiefs invited all Chiefs and Kings of the nation to gather in the National Conference Hall in Bergo ahead of the trial before the Supreme Court urging all its Council members to show restraint in the coming days and weeks as this was unfolding and the case against King Thomas was discussed before his judges. With great emphasis did he ask all of them to talk to their people and ensure peace prevails on the streets of Ghana.

"Thomas Weinberger, that is how we must address you as long as this court hearing is ongoing as you were stripped of your royal title and duties until we have delivered our judgment to you and the entire nation of Ghana...you will understand?" asked the presiding Judge of the Supreme Court going about his mandated duties in the new Kingdom of Ghana.

Thomas Weinberger agreed with a smile from his seat behind bulletproof glass.

"That is fine," continued the Judge heading a panel of five judges in all. "You and as we all were hearing the opening statements of the State Prosecutor and your Attorney, it is now on you to give your opening remarks and let the court know whether or not you play guilty of the charges brought against you."

"Not guilty and my trust in the justice of God is endless," responded Thomas Weinberger with great confidence on his face. Not a single second did he doubt everything will finally turn into his favour regardless of the mess he found himself in, false allegations well-presented against his person and ideas he had stood for.

"Well then, let us all begin the proceedings. Before use, we have a serious case of corruption after which you, Thomas Weinberger, in the capacity and mandate given as King of the new Kingdom of Ghana, signing documents as King Thomas, have taken bribes in two cases, one of which is the procurement of two fighter jets from Lockheed and the other case is the building of a power station in Ho to serve the Northern Region of our country with electricity. By the powers invested in you as the King of the nation, King Thomas, you had by-passed your Prime Minister in the process to procure both projects for which the contractors had given you around USD 5 Million in bribery. Your Prime Minister will be heard by the court later in the week but has submitted in advance a written statement after which she declares that in her view you have done nothing wrong and have not by-passed her but were in line with the government´s overall defence policy and money spending. So, let us get started one account after the other and see into the truth of the matter. If you will be found guilty you will lose your position as King of the new Kingdom of Ghana for goo, been expeditated back to Germany and refused entry into Ghana for life as well as your Ghanaian Citizenship will be taken away from you alongside all the properties and assets you are holding in our country of Ghana. If found not guilty you will be re-installed as King Thomas to rule over our new Kingdom of Ghana...you understand your situation and the consequences?"

"Yes, I do!"

"You have anything else to say before we begin?"

"As all TV cameras in this room carry the court hearing live let me address the people that are out there shouting for my immediate release and calling the court hearing a shame on the good name of Ghana and a disgraceful act on African soil!"

"You may go ahead...but mind your words...please, Mr Thomas Weinberger," advised the presiding Judge the defendant.

"Fellow Ghanaians...as I am standing here before you in the courtroom of the highest court of the country and you have heart all the allegations brought against me, I have full trust in the justice system of our nation, in the integrity of our judges of the Supreme Court, in the rule of law, in our Kingdom of Ghana but most of all...I rest in God`s peace and I know he will bring out the truth and will set me free to continue my work for the Kingdom of Ghana and you people as a great nation. As I have all the confidence a human can have in our almighty Lord that is closely monitoring the situation unfolding here in Ghana, I urge you to have faith just like me in a positive outcome. So, please, I urge all of you out there do not take up the sword of harm, of anger, of frustration. Please, stay away from demonstrations on the streets of our cities and villages. Watch the court hearing each day on your TV sets, pray in silence and in churches for God`s almighty justice to come upon me to set me free. The world is closely watching the events unfolding and many are in prayers that justice might be served...and with no doubt, in my mind, this testing time will even bring all of us closer together and crush the evil forces that have presented false documents and witnesses. Ghana will emerge even stronger as a great Kingdom in Africa and a true moral leader of the world. So, please...please, stay calm, watch, listen and observe. God is always the winner and he will never forsake any of His saints. Read Psalm thirty-seven over and over again and you will understand and find peace in your hearts."

"Like you, all we're hearing King Thomas," said the Chair of the Council of Chiefs staring on the monitors in the room with clear visible tension on his face," he urges us all to stay focused and calm. So, when you leave again tomorrow back to your people, I urge you to spread this message to all your people. We are in difficult times, not only here in Ghana, but also Africa as a whole and the entire world. The eyes of Billions of people are on us. We now must do what is best and right for our nation, the new Kingdom of Ghana. When we want to world to accept us as the new World Ruler, it is now the test of time in which we are given the great opportunity from God to prove us worth being in that position and give moral leadership to the rest of the world. As we now treat one of our own this will send out a strong message to all people on planet earth as to how humans should treat each other. So, let us never forget the special role that we have to play in the coming weeks when most certainly King Thomas will stand among us again as King Thomas...in my mind, I have not the slightest doubt about that...not at all!"

"The ward has allowed us this morning to watch your appearance in court, your Majesty," mentioned David and smiled. "You did very well, and we all stand by your side. The whole case is cooked, nothing is very true. These people lie to us...and that is a real great shame, your Majesty. It is so, so bad. We here all know nothing like that is ever possible, you are not corrupt at all."

"I appreciate your kind words and your concern...from all of you," responded King Thomas while walking around the inner courtyard of the prison. All inmates had the chance, and most of them used it daily, to walk around the lush green inner courtyard closely monitored by armed Prison Officers standing in the corners and on top of the high walls surrounding the facility which was built for about three hundred heavily secured men sentenced to life in imprisonment or other serious sentencing. In a neighbouring prison, women were serving their terms behind bars for minor offences, for child misuse, selling of children for profit or being desperate poor mothers with no hope for a better future giving their children away as slaves to fisher folks on Lake Volta. Even King Thomas had put much effort into fighting these shameless activities yet for the eradication of the evil practise more time was needed. Some women found guilty he had asked to see him in his office only to hear horrific stories of women shameless pitying themselves. They tried to argue into his heart that the money they had was too small to even feed themselves less all their children. He had looked into their eyes and shouted on them by saying whenever there is predictable no money for the next years they should have closed their pussies, not allowed their husbands and boyfriends to approach them at nights when any form of contraceptive was not available for them. To send their children into slavery is the worst a mother could ever due to her children. Lust can be controlled when money is small, but the emotional and spiritual pain these children have to pass through while working as slaves on canoes on Lake Volta, for that one, any woman doing so must be severely punished and feel the pain their children have to feel while being slaves. He did not feel any mercy for such evil women seeing any explanation was nothing but a shameless and cheap excuse to have fun or allow the husband to use his wife for lust. At first, he had thought to use a cane for direct punishment before seeing the first lady having sold her child into slavery he had accepted the advice from his wife to resist such activities and to strongly talk into their hearts and minds instead.

"David...and the rest of you...let us all sit down under the tree over there...in the shadow," suggested King Thomas. He loved to be teaching people, to pass on what he had seen in his life, what his mind had made him be and his heart to beat for people small in size by not knowing much, but great in their hearts to be eagerly wanting to understand life`s matters. Like Plato and Aristotle did he like lecturing while walking or being around and about places, never to sit still in a classroom. Especially walking and lecturing at the same time as Plato was in his blood. "I appreciate you all and I want to use this opportunity not to cry but I want to see it as a very great privilege to be among you."
