A former Member of Parliament (MP), for Binduri in the Upper East Region, Ben Noah, has assured teaming supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the constituency of the Party's unblemished unity ahead of the crucial December 7, elections.

At a clean-up exercise organized by a youth group named 'Binduri action youth group', affiliated to the opposition National Democratic Congress in the area in honour of the late NDC's founder, saw both past and current local executives of the party as well as former government appointees harmoniously in action attracting cheers from enthusiastic party supporters.

For Ben Noah, the NDC is united by a genetic bonding and its opposite has absolutely no place in the party's diary going into the future.

The event, which later turned into a mini-rally, following the influx of energetic youth, also saw traders deserting the busy Atuba market to catch the glimpse of the entourage.

He assured that the NDC is poised to secure a convincing one-touch victory and thus called on all to join the ship. Mr. Noah accused the ruling New Patriotic Party's government of corruption, nepotism, poor governance, insecurity and as such called on voters not to renew the mandate of the Nana Addo led government. The NDC, he noted, is the only political party with Ghanaians at heart.

On his part, the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr. Robert Kuganab-Lem who is seeking a second term, acknowledged the youth of Binduri for their active role in politics and thanked them for their support, and admonish them to keep their spirit high for the 2020 victory.

Chairman of the organizing group- Abagre Julius Caesar, assured that his team will tediously work towards the party's victory."

We will move from market to market, community to community, house to house, door to door, and preach the NDC manifesto and Dr. Robert Kuganab Lem development agenda for Binduri". He echoed, to a charging crowd.

The Binduri parliamentary seat has been won by both the ruling New Patriotic Party and the opposition National Democratic Congress, with the inception of the fourth Republic.

This time, the incumbent is battling it out against a man said to be a former Bawku Municipal Chief Executive under the John Kuffour administration, Abdulai Abanga.
