President Akufo-Addo has nominated Mr Evans Amoah for the position of District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bia East District Assembly.
This has been confirmed by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) in a press release signed by its Minister, Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama.
“His Excellency the President in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and section 20(1) of the Local Governance Act, Act 936, has nominated Mr. Amoah Evans as District Chief Executive for Bia East District Assembly in the Western North Region”, the statement noted.
In line with the nomination, the Regional Minister for Western North Region, according to the statement copied to ModernGhana News is requested to liaise with the Regional Electoral Commission to conduct the confirmation process of Mr Evans Amoah as the DCE for Bia East.
