EC To Start Compilation Of Transferred Voters On October 20

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced that it will start the compilation of transferred voters and proxy voters list for the 2020 General Elections on Tuesday, October 20.

“The Electoral Commission wishes to inform the General Public of the compilation of Transferred Voters Lists, and the Proxy Voters Lists for the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

“This will take place from Tuesday, 20th October to Thursday, 22nd October 2020”, a press release from the EC has said.

In line with the announcement any registered voter who is a student or a member of the Security Services on special duties and is a resident in a Constituency other than that in which he/she registered, may apply to the Returning Officer of the Constituency where he/she is resident for his/her name to be entered onto the Transferred Voters List of a Polling Station in that Constituency.
