The New Patriotic Party(NPP) Parliamentary Aspirant, Lawyer Prince Appiah Debrah on Saturday, October 10th held a unity health walk and street campaign in the Klottey Korle constituency.
The walk, which commenced, from the Osu Mantse Palace was attended by hundreds of NPP supporters and sympathizers from both far and near.
The Parliamentary candidate who arrived in the company of the Constituency Chairman, his wife, among other top notches of the party defied Saturday's rains to walk through the principal streets of Osu.
Prominent among the participants was the former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (Musiga) Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour.
Addressing the media, Lawyer Prince Appiah Debrah said he was happy about the love and support Osu residence have shown him and he is ready to work for the development of the constituency and the country as a whole.
He identified the age-old problem of the poor drainage systems in the constituency which have often led to flooding and displacement of residents.
Lawyer Prince vowed to tackle the issue once and for all to bring that chapter to a permanent closure.
"The people of Osu assume that there's nothing the Government can do in their constituency, but as we walk through the rain, you could see floods on the streets, garbage all over, this shows we have a long way to go", he lamented.
"We intend to advocate seriously that our drainage be done properly as compared to any modern city in the world", he said.
"I'm talking about total renewal, and I talk about the need to come back as a people and work together to achieve our common goal".
