NDC- UK & Ireland Chapter Congratulates H.E Professor Kweku Danso Boafo’s Manifesto Committee.

On behalf of the entire membership of the NDC-UK & Ireland Chapter, I would like to congratulate H.E Professor Kweku Danso led Manifesto Committee.

The People’s Manifesto has reiterated NDC’s political philosophy as the main social Democratic Party in Ghana. The paramount of the welfare of Ghanaians is the main theme that runs through and illuminates the entire manifesto.

The People's Manifesto is the most comprehensive, holistic and inclusive masterpiece of a social contract ever written in the political history of Ghana. It is a covenant between NDC and the good people of Ghana.

We have no doubt that President John Mahama's next government, with the support of his able Vice President Professor Nana Jane Opoku- Agymeng, shall make good these promises in order to improve the socio-economic and political well-being of all Ghanaians without any form of discrimination.

The NDC- UK & Ireland Chapter considers Professor Kweku Danso Boafo as an honorary member of our chapter.

This is because, during his tenure as the Ghana High Commissioner to the UK & Ireland, he showed a keen interest in the affairs of the Chapter and contributed immensely to the growth of the NDC in the UK and Ireland.

We are proud of the pivotal role he played in writing of the People’s Manifesto.

I can still recall Professor Danso Boafo facilitating telephone conservation between some Chapter executives (including my good self) and Professor Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang when she was the Minister for Education.

The Manifesto Committee has done a marvelous and excellent job.

And it is now up to us all who believe in the spirit and letter of the Manifesto to simplify and amplify its content to the understanding of ordinary Ghanaians.

This will enable Ghanaians to make a simple choice of voting massively for President John Mahama and NDC’s parliamentary candidates.

Once again, congratulations to Professor Kweku Danso Boafo’s Manifesto Committee for giving Ghanaians the Manifesto that seeks to deal with their hopes and aspirations.

Thank you.

Alhaji Alhassan Mbalba

Chairman

NDC- UK & Ireland Chapter.
