The Customs, Excise and Preventive Service is to undertake an exercise to recover all outstanding duty/tax owe by individuals and organizations in the public and private sector.
A release signed on behalf of the commissioner on Friday, said the exercise which will start on September 1, is part of efforts by government to enhance revenue mobilization for national development.
The release asked individuals and organizations indebted to the service to contact CEPS Headquarters or the nearest regional office of the service to settle their outstanding duty and tax by the end of this month.
It said the service will also send out a team of officers nationwide to check on defaulters.
