A group of Northerners in the Denkyembour District in the Eastern Region have today been cleared and their cards given to them after the Regional Review Committee hearing.
The group of persons who were challenged as non Ghanaians were represented by the Deputy Director of Legal Affairs of the NDC, Alhaji Baba Jamal after they were referred to the Regional Review Committee.
After the Review Committee hearing, the Northerners challenged on grounds of being foreigners were found to be Ghanaians and therefore had procured the voter ID cards legitimately. Their cards were subsequently handed over to them.
