Press Release Aggrieved MenzGold Customers Welcome President Mahama's Decision To Pay Locked Up Cash
AUG 4, 2020 LISTEN

Ever since President Mahama indicated that when he wins power he shall pay customers of collapsed financial institutions and this includes menzgold customers in 2021, some people are making frantic effort to distort the fact and are questioning why taxpayers' money should be used to pay Menzgold customers.

Whilst we will give some compelling ling reasons below, we are challenging anybody to a public debate and we will demonstrate to them why the State should not only pay us but should in addition compensate us for negligence.

Here are a few reasons:

1. The same government that collapsed menzgold is the same government that collapsed fund management based on infractions of the law, yet the latter is being paid from our tax?

2. The Securities and industry Act 929, section 123 of 2016 mandates the government of its obligations towards Menzgold customers, this government has failed to act.

3. Where are the frozen assets of Nam1 by EOCO court order obtained in 2019, January 29?

4. If Nam1 was operating an illegal business why is he walking around freely with armed state security?

Anybody who feels strongly that they have a case against menzgold customers; we are after to state our case. if you have a case on why Menzgold customers should not be paid by the taxpayers or from consolidated funds, please bring it on.

The excuse by the current government to abandon their responsibility and refuse payment is deliberate and unacceptable. President Mahama's Promise to pay menzgold customers is therefore apropos and Menzgold customers are grateful to him that once again we are encouraged and can end the needless deaths among our customers. Menzgold customers are advised to go and register so that they can vote to make this promise a reality
