The Accra Mayor, Nii Adjiri Blankson has said that nobody would be allowed to sell on the streets of Accra by November this year.

In an interview with CITI NEWS during his official visit to the Ga Traditional Council, the Mayor confirmed that the Odorna site for the Hawkers Market has been cleared and tarred, and that work on the project would be completed by the end of September.

When asked about the mode of allocation of the sheds to the hawkers, Nii Adjiri Blankson reiterated that about 1,500 hawkers who have registered with the hawkers association would be given their sheds accordingly.

He however said that all hawkers who have not as yet registered, will not be allocated any shed.
