Arbitration Course Ends

A 16-Week Executive Diploma Course in Mediation and Abitration for senior executives, top civil servants, legal practitioners and top union executives has opened in Accra.

The programme is organised by GGAM, a labour consultancy firm in co-operation with the Mediation Training Institute (MTI) of the United States of America.

It would equip participants with the requisite skills and knowledge to assist them to maintain Industrial Harmony towards enhance national productivity.

Major topics being tackled include Professional Managerial Interest Based Bargaining (IBB), Interest Based Problems Solving (IBPS) and an over view of the labour law.

The Chief Executive of GGAM, Mr, Austin Gamey attributed the recent spate.

Labour industrial strike in the country to the lack of knowledge of thelabour law.

It was therefore appropriate that participants got the relevant tuition to assist them to ensure that problems do not go out of hand before they are solved.
