NDC Youth To Challenge NPP Youth’s Claim Of 60 Akufo-Addo Achievement On August 8

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has indicated that they will respond to the ‘fictitious’ claims of some 60 achievements of President Akufo-Addo government in the area of youth empowerment.

This follows comments by the National Youth Organizer of the ruling NPP, Henry Nana Boakye, popularly knowns as Nana B who was speaking at the fifth edition of the ‘Youth Must Know’ series in Kumasi last week, listed youth empowerment achievements under the current government which he stressed beats what the erstwhile Mahama government did for the youth in the country.

In a Facebook post of Edem Agbana who is the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the NDC, he noted that all the claims will be addressed when the Electoral Commission ends its voter registration exercise next month.

“..After the ongoing voters’ registration exercise, which is the topmost priority of the NDC youth at the moment, we shall on 10th August, 2020 respond to the fictitious claims and so-called achievements being peddled by the SUB-STANDARD National Youth Organizer of the NPP, Henry Nana Boakye, relative to the youth empowerment record of the failed NPP/Akufo Addo-government”, he wrote.

According to him, the NDC Youth will establish with incontrovertible and indisputable facts, the towering and unparalleled achievements of the Mahama administration to underline why the youth in the country must reject President Akufo-Addo in the 2020 General Elections.

We shall establish with incontrovertible and indisputable facts, the towering and unparalleled achievements of the NDC for the youth of this country, as well as our superior Policy alternatives for youth empowerment. And above all, demonstrate why the youth of this country must reject DISHONEST and CORRUPT Akufo Addo and vote for the visionary John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming December Polls.

Until then, all NDC youth are entreated to defy the intimidation tactics of the oppressive Akufo Addo-government and continue mobilizing the rank and file of the great NDC to register in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
