A well-deserved congratulations to Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on your nomination as the running mate of former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.

This is victory for women across the globe especially Ghana. Rising Ladies extends our sincere congratulations to Professor Agyemang and the NDC for projecting the credentials of Professor Opoku-Agyemang in a highly male-dominated field.

The party unveiled a phenomenal woman with an impeccable educational background who doubles as a great gender activist with many achievements.

This highlights the SDG goal five (5), i.e. gender equality. Professor Naana is an educationist, a mother and a global icon.
