NPP We Can't Trust A Running Mate Who Failed Woefully As Education Minister--Eric Nartey Yeboah

The NPP Chairman for the Madina-La-Nkwantaman Constituency, Eric Nartey Yeboah, has said the newly appointed running mate for NDC, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, collapsed Ghana’s education sector during her watch as the Minister for Education.

According to him, the educationists who should know better left behind huge arrears which could collapse the sector.

Eric Nartey Yeboah cited among other things 4.7 million feeding grant for special schools, 36 million subsidies for Senior High School (SHS), 155 million Northern scholarship as some of the legacies Prof. Opoku Agyeman left behind.

He could not fathom why the NDC running mate could superintend over such incompetence.

“Why must Ghanaians trust a running mate who failed woefully as a Minister of Education? A person who cancelled teacher trainee allowances and left huge debt at the ministry,’’ Eric Nartey Yeboah exclusively told Kwaku Owusu Adjei on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7

“This shows she is completely incompetent and cannot be a credible running mate as perceived by the NDC,’’ He added

He also disclosed that there were no documents supporting the supposed 200 schools the erstwhile Mahama administration promised to build.
