Freedom never comes - Part 18

Freedom never comes - Part 18
02.07.2020 LISTEN

Eve shared with Linda Evans her life, a life in anything heart can desire. Food and drinks everywhere, no worries, no concerned, no fears and no crying of joy out to the heavens. A life that looked each and every day the same, getting up in the morning, picking food from the trees, having a delicious drink, using toilet, walking around the Garden of Eden with Adam. When the sun would turn running closer to the darkness of the night another meal would be picked, another drink taken, another walk to toilet accomplished, love in the arms of Adam from time to time to demonstrate their fruitfulness and willingness to multiply. Otherwise only sitting round, looking into the skies above, feeling each other´s heartbeat knowing the next day would be all the same as all the days were.

Yes, they did not have anything to do but to life, nothing to build, nothing to plan, nothing to regulate, no one to sentence to prison. A life in the Garden of Eden, that is what she shared with Linda Evans, was a life of daily routine with no progress made. But in any case, what would progress do good in a situation where someone has anything he desires or needs? She asked he visitor that was all dressed up in latest fashion style of a world not seen how she would feel about her own life among so many people that have so many different wishes and characters. Lionda Evans sat down on what was left from the tree that was cut down, looked at the two naked people before her that sat down in the grass under the Tree of Life and shared with her side of the story of life. For her she would not like to life in a perfect world, boring down to the last bones. She needed to wake up each and every morning knowing the outcome of the day would be unpredictable keeping her always on her toes. Yes, she confessed to have plans, dreams, and hopes, one of which was to get married to a Prince, a charming Prince with a big castle, many horses. Her dream was to be rich and famous, the center of many conversations and thoughts, standing out and tall above others.

Linda Evans told Adam and Eve that she has the chance to achieve it as she is free from the one sin being part of a world of many sins and many sins cannot easily be punished as in that case all humans must get punished and the noise that would come from all these punishments no one, even not God, would be able to take. The punishment and its pain and crying out loud voices would eventually destroy the earth, shake it to its foundation. This was the great privilege she felt not having to be under one sin only, like not eating from the forbidden fruit but to be human as humans are which includes being sinners; sinners that can choose to be better, to choose in their own free will and freedom, to work on a life with less and less sin. Freedom only exists, that it what she was clear about in her mind when someone can choose out of more than one option to decide. While they only had one option in exchange for a paradise with no worries at all, there had, in fact, no freedom, not absolute freedom or relative freedom, only the free will to decide between eating or not eating of the apple. Freedom is the reward for not living in paradise; as compensation for a wrong decision, a failed choice was Linda Evans convinced.

Even as life is based on these principles, Linda Evans stressed out, freedom is not given to us for good and everlasting, is not there to pick like an apple from the tree, does not come to us, but we have to come to it, see it, understand it before we can take it. Most people do not undertake this hard work rather are lazy in themselves, create a relaxed society hoping, assuming and trusting rules and regulations will set them free and give them freedom of whatever kind, large or small. Most people die realizing only on their death bed how much they lived a life without thinking and reflecting, just doing as they are told to do and to behave by which life-style missing the point, their own target with no stone left behind once their bones are rotten. Eva got up looking down on Adam, smiled and explained both why she would want to taste from the forbidden fruit. She walked around the Tree of Life, once, than another time, a third time, stood still, looked up into the branches of the big tree and explained her heart’s desire that a free will is less than freedom and that she wants to best of life. Linda Evans looked at the naked woman with her well-shaped body, made to perfection, wondering what she had said. Free will and Freedom, were this not the two sides of the same coin, was she wondering in her mind. She looked at Adam, the black man fitting the meaning of his name very well, but he looked at her with empty eyes.

Eva smiled at both knowing what was going on in them. She sat down again. All of a sudden it occurred to Linda Evans. Now she knew that someone must have freedom out of which he can have a free will. Therefore, to look for freedom would be more important than to look for a free will being it only the strategic instrument of freedom, a tool, not a value in itself. Eva smiled at her able to read her mind. After silent moments Eve said to them that even when they might sin and eat from the forbidden fruit with all the consequences following for generations to come, in the end they are more free than in paradise with nothing to decide except not to eat, this one time moment in their life. They will later enjoy freedom again and again in many different ways, here only one dimensional.

And most of all, here they life a perfect life, out there in the world they live a life in understanding; and understanding is a vital part to honor and appreciate freedom. Linda Evans was most impressed by the young woman nearly her age, naked, beautifully shaped that was wishing her all the best in life and would pray for her to find her Prince Charming, become very rich and famous indeed. While getting up Linda Evans looked around the Garden of Eden for the last time, felt privileged to have seen it in her life-time, turned her back to Adam and Eva, walked towards the door through which he had come, opened it, turned around once more and saw the two humans standing in a cloud of fog disappearing second by second into remembrance. She opened the door, stepped out, put her shoes at the side of the door, got her high heels on and joined the group of friends eagerly awaiting her report.

Kevin Hail was encouraged and pushed forward to follow his friends’ example and open another door, one of his own choice. He took off his own shoes, put on the shoes provided, took a deep breath, pulled the door handle down, pushed the door open and entered. The door closed behind him automatically. The fog lifted itself, he was standing in the study of a rich man. Bookshelves in dark brown well designed covered all walls around. On the double desk with red leather inlay stood a small lamp with red lampshade directing light right onto the laptop that was in use.

Tabris carpet, fine silk with thousands of knots woven, covered the entire room. Designed in pink and silver with some of the most famous Persian Kings were portrayed, a design he had never come across. He was truly in love with Tabris carpets wanting always to call one of them his own. One day, one day, that was he convinced of, would he have the best possible, the most beautiful the world has never seen. Before one of the bookshelves, an old man was standing back turned to him. He had opened a book and studied what was in it, glasses on his nose, grey hair covering his head. He did not seem to have taken notice of the young man. After Kevin Hail was coughing cautiously to make himself know, the old man looked over his right shoulder, saw a stranger standing in his study, turned around and stared at him. Without saying a word, the old man sat down on his captain chair made from the finest red leather possible, looked silently at the young Englishman, started to smile with his eyes, then with his face, offered Kevin Hail a seat right in front of the double desk. Kevin Hail introduced himself first, Professor Doctor Sir Joseph Seiller followed.

Sir Seiller, once born near Frankfurt in Germany, then migrated to America, lecturing at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He always smiled when talking about the first time he met Jacky Kennedy a woman he never liked. As Political Advisor to late President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, he had a very good working relationship with him. Send to Nigeria to help with the peace process in Biafra that ended with a peace treaty between the opposing fractions Queen Elizabeth II finally honoured him with a Knighthood for his service to the British Empire. The room was filled with smoke, he did not care what people thought about him; he was always used to go his own way. Looking over his glasses with a cigarette in his mouth Sir Seiller advised Kevin Hail about the current political situation around the world. Sir Seiller started by saying even he is fully a Democrat himself nevertheless has made the observation that this form of governance in many more countries seem not to be in the best interest of the people anymore.

They call for the strong man that ends endless, useless discussions and gets down to the point and work. They do not like Politicians any longer that want to please everyone for the gain of votes and getting ono the seats in power. They feel their issues are no longer tackled and tackled timely. The call for strong men was growing, that is what he was saying hoping to bear positive results. He seemed to see a downcurved as it always happens in life, what is up, must come down, and down will be up eventually. He smiled silently. Life is a roller coaster; nothing stays the same. The once rich today, are poor tomorrow and poor today means rich the next day. When someone is down today to get the momentum of being catapulted to the top is based on readiness. People living anyhow with no idea, no vision before them, get a life anyhow with no substance in it, no results lasting.

As crazy and useless it might seem and people try to convince someone that in fact it is crazy and useless someone should never allow anyone or someone’s circumstances to depart from big visions no matter how impossible today they seem to be. Tomorrow tables turn and when prepared money will find the ones that walk with great ideas in their minds and bodies like a magnet. When money that is big but has no vision comes across a visionary that lives in the shadow of life, on the level of preparation, and knows that a big idea must pass through stages of test nobody wants to see but everyone wants to know about the deal of greatness is completed and agreed. When money passes no one can tell; but when money passes by and the inner magnet is not drawing the money to someone that should be ready in all he is, that money passes by and gets attracted to and by other people well prepared even during their darkest days ever seen. It only takes one great idea to make it in life, only one, stressed Sir Seiller with smiling eyes full of wisdom lightening another cigarette.

And the beauty about an idea is that it is free and available for anyone of us when we want it, understand and accept the rules and regulations that come with a great idea and its responsibilities over a life-time to stay and not only to be a powerful one time wonder that comes and goes anyhow. To have a great idea does not depend on education or social statues, it is entirely a mindset in and of one person alone. As we live life from the end only few are selected while many are called, and all are made to achieve it equally. As we all have human bodies and a brain, a spirit, a soul and freedom of thinking and decision making, we should not blame our past for anything but discover the beauty in it, the message, the power that comes with our life and the time we are passing through. Anyone understanding the rules and conditions of a successful life and follows them by the letter will one day come out great and leave a stone behind. Kevin Hail wanted to make the point that not everyone has an idea or a vision even and that it would not be possible for all to have one.

Sir Seiller laughed at him asking what an idea would be, a vision is and where to find it. Kevin Hail was left behind puzzled unable to know the answer. Sir Joseph Seiller wanted to help him, got up, walked behind his Englishman. put his right hand on his head saying that ideas and visions are the end product of a long thinking process, nothing that comes overnight without being asked for over a considerable time.

They come as pictures before thoughts and words are added to it and concepts and plans making them visible for others to be helpers all the way. The center of ideas and vision is not the arm, nor leg or chest, but the brain. In there the picture is growing before it becomes a picture before the inner eye and emotions bring out the idea and vision onto paperwork and as words to share with others. Brain is what every human calls his own...not the brain of others, only his own that makes him live until life is taken away. In that period between given and taken anything goes when someone understands the meaning and power of the brain.

It is not an alarm clock to wake up for work, get pregnant, have sex, eat, and drink and party, but the only basis that we have based on what we can create our own future. Kevin Hail was lost of words, felt his host hands on his head just above his brain, tried to get out of the hands to walk alone, made his way to the door, turned around for the last time, bowed down to pay respect to a wise man knowing his own weaknesses, his many sins, turned around, opened the door, let the door close behind him, got off the shoes, put on his own shoes and joined the group of friends. They asked him of his experience, he kept his mouth shut.
