Mr Dodzi Atiogbe, Head of Management Information System, Community Water Agency in the Ho Municipality in the Volta Region last Saturday called on business organisations and individuals to research and investigate the system of E-Commerce thoroughly with a strategic mind in order to outwit swindlers.

"The system (E-Commerce) has come to stay, the earlier we master it rather than fear to use it, the better placed we will be to win, over cheats and reap its immense benefits," he said.

Speaking at the second Mandatory Continuing Professional Education (MCPE) for members of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants (CIAMC) in Ho, Mr Atiogbe observed that though Internet fraud was on the increase it (E-Commerce) was the "game of the moment" which no businessperson could afford to miss.

"Though cases of Internet fraud continued to increase in the country that alone was not enough to deter business focused persons to shrink away from the single way to their success" he stressed. His topic was: "Benefits and Challenges of E-Commerce."

Mr Atiogbe stated that though E-Commerce did not give the supplier the opportunity to understand the customer, it was still beneficial as it provided value to the customer and bridged the gap between time and space and offered unlimited access to a wide-reaching market nationally and globally.
