A group known as Muslims in Diaspora Project has fed families and households in some selected communities in the northern part of Ghana.

The group is nonpolitical that seeks to put smiles on the faces of those who can not acquire food to sustain themselves.

The beneficiary groups are widows, vulnerable, orphans and the needy who are actually in dire need of support to go through Ramadan with ease.

Presenting the items on behalf of the Ghanaians in diaspora who are behind this, Alhaji Salifu Abdul-Dahim said the members were not rich people, but persons who saw the need to support needy during the holy month.

Coca-Cola company supported the project with 50 crates of soft drinks, with All Ice sachet water donating 150 bags of sachet water

On their part, the beneficiaries extended their appreciation to the group as well as Muslims in Ghana for making the donations a successful project to benefit them.

Each beneficiary got a bag of rice, cooking oil, canned/tinned tomatoes, soft drinks and a bag of sachet water.
