The National Labour Commission will today take a firm decision on whether to take legal action against striking health. The commission has described the strike as illegal.

Deputy Chairman of the commission, Kwaku Danso Acheampong says today's meeting will review the strike by various health professionals and decide the next line of action.

“If you have a right and you want to get it, all what the law is saying is that please follow through a procedure. The consensus the commission arrived at was that a law made it mandatory for us to seek the intervention of the court. I know it has already gone to the public domain. Some people have made misguided criticism when they haven't even read the law. If the commission still finds the situation the same, the solicitors have finished their work; all we need is to file it because other bodies have come in”, he said.
