Rozzy Tours Wins Tourism Award

Rozzy Travel and Tours Limited has been voted “Travel Agency of the Year” for the Western Region as part of the 7th National Tourism Awards held at Nkroful in the Western Region.

In a speech, Mr Charles Osei Bonsu, Deputy Director of Finance, Ghana Tourist Board said the impact of tourism, a largely private sector industry on the national economy had been phenomenal.

He said tourism had contributed significantly to the gross domestic product of the country and had also created both direct and indirect employment.

He expressed the gratitude of the board to sponsors and other stakeholders who had sustained the National Tourism Award scheme over the years since its inception in 1976.

Sixteen other operators in the tourism industry including hotel and night club proprietors, restaurant and car rental operators were also presented with awards.
