Nana Ayereba II, Queen Mother of Gomoa Aboso in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region has welcomed location of Covid-19 Isolated center in her community with a call on Ghanaians to support the Government in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic

"Government alone cannot fight Covid-19 pandemic. We must support the effort to make sure Ghana becomes a coronavirus free country"

Nana Ayereba II, who doubles as Regent of Gomoa Aboso as well as Twafohemaa of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area stated these when she donated 1,000 Nose Mask to Gomoa Central DCE, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo to be given to every household member in Gomoa Aboso community

Nana Ayereba II called for all hands on deck to ensure rapid eradication of the pandemic adding the virus can't be eradicated if Ghanaians failed to be part of the solution.

"Nobody is happy that our schools, boundaries, churches, mosques, hotels and other public places we go to do businesses or others are under lock and key

Our students have been at home, businesses have gone down everything seems to be in disarray due to Covid-19. We ought to support the fight against this global canker

Gomoa Aboso Nananom is doing everything within its power to support our Member of Parliament, Hon. Naana Eyiah and DCE, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo in this fight to combat Covid-19

We (Nananom) have stressed the need for people to adhere to all preventive protocols related to Covid-19 infections.

We have asked them to keep to regular washing of hands, the use of sanitizers, wearing of nose masks and social distancing"

Nana Ayereba II while lauding Gomoa Central Member of Parliament and DCE respectively praised His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and his NPP government for handling Covid-19 pandemic with maturity

Receiving the items, Gomoa Central DCE, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo accompanied by the Gomoa Central District Coordinating Director, Mr. Daniel Koney, Assembly Member for Aboso Electoral Area, Hon. Isaac Gyesi Korsah and Mr. George Obeng, Gomoa Central NPP Deputy Organizer, commended Nana Ayereba II for the donation

" Today's presentation is symbolic in the history of the Gomoa Central District Assembly. Aboso Nananom and for that matter, the Queen Mother, Nana Ayereba II has done what has become historic

Instead of making a demand for Nose Masks for her people, she decided to support the Assembly to protect the citizenry.

This kind gesture is worthy of emulation. I encourage our traditional rulers, civil society groups, Associations and individuals to follow suit

Gomoa Central District Assembly is vigorously enforcing the wearing of nose masks and social distancing which is becoming a headache due to indiscipline.

Government is spending a lot in fighting this global pandemic. We won't allow the few undisciplined ones to spread the virus.

The fact that we have not recorded any case does not mean we should allow people to misbehave"

Assembly Member for Aboso Electoral Area, Hon. Isaac Gyesi Korsah on behalf of the electorates thanked the Queen Mother and the entire Aboso Nananom for caring for donation

Nana Ayereba II later led the DCE and his entourage to distribute the nose masks and the sanitizers to households in Aboso as well as traders at the ABEA Central market
