The Ghost of Atta-Mills Haunts and Jinxes NDC

I am not averse to being called a “Prophet,” but definitely not in the cheap and tawdry sense in which this vatical title is being used in Ghana these days. Nevertheless, it is all about the proverbial “chickens coming home to roost,” as has been globally associated with Prophet Malcolm X, the immortalized African-American Civil and Human Rights Leader of the 1950s and the 1960s. The chickens have come home to roost because anybody who has been studiously reading my columns may vividly recall yours truly “Prophesying” that the barbaric treatment meted the late Dr. Francis Mohamed Mustapha, for decades the lone Neurosurgeon in the West African Subregion, by former President Jerry John Rawlings, in the matter of Ackah Blay-Miezah, late, and Mr. Rawlings’ Arch-Lieutenant, to wit, then-Vice-President John Evans Atta-Mills, was bound to inescapably and strikingly reflect in the destinies of these two hatchet politicians, in particular, and their equally criminal cronies of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Now, let no clinical idiot write to yours truly requesting that he proves or provides forensically sustainable evidence for his poignant characterization of Messrs. Rawlings and Atta-Mills and, indeed, the entire hoodlum lot of the top leadership of the National Democratic Congress as a hive of Cutthroat Criminals. The incontrovertible evidence is in the Indemnity Clauses that continue to hobble Ghana’s 1992 Republican Constitution, which the top hierarchy operatives of the National Democratic Congress rightly perceive to be their group and private property, with the staunch backing of the present leadership of the Ghana National House of Chiefs (GNHC).

It is this proprietary arrogance that informs the lunatic and the megalomaniacal insistence by the Mahama Posse that the NDC apparatchiks subject Ghanaians and the legitimately appointed administrators of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to the most extortionate form of harassment and intimidation in order to ensure that the legitimate approval by Parliament for the already budgeted compilation of a new National Biometric Voters’ Register (NBVR) will be aborted. True to my “Prophecy,” President John Evans Atta-Mills will be met with an inglorious mortal circumstances that was curiously and unprecedently described by then-Vice-President John Dramani Mahama as a godsend and an inscrutable circumstance that needed to be globally celebrated as an auspicious moment which Divine Providence had intended to mark the “Prophetic” birth of the first Post-Independence Ghanaian Leader.

As I clearly see it, it was this catastrophic moment that inaugurated the present crisis that has taken seismic grips of the affairs of the Rawlings-fangled terrorist ideological machine that is the National Democratic Congress. The decision by the so-called Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the NDC to immediately and summarily suspend Mr. Bernard Allotey Jacobs, the former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, may only be marking the beginning of the apocalyptic end of the political establishment of the National Democratic Congress, as Ghanaians have known the latter for the past three decades. Trust me, Bernard Allotey Jacobs is not the least bit the problem of the National Democratic Congress. That accolade and/or credit properly belongs to Candidate John Dramani Mahama, whose megalomaniacal carcinogen, unconscionably brewed by the Northern Mafia/Cabal of the party, with the mercenary supported of some Southern-Descended Political Opportunists, has set the party alight and on a steady course towards certain ruination.

But this certain destination of the NDC political machine would take quite a considerable while in coming to fruition. The real problem is the abject lack of truth and honesty in publicly revealing the precise assassinative set of circumstances that synergistically culminated in the barbaric liquidation of the First Fourth-Republican Ghanaian Leader to Die in Office. Bernard Allotey Jacobs is one of the keys, perhaps even the most significant key, to ferreting out the killers of Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills; unfortunately, the vacuous party oath and alliance have prevented this very sober and naturally reflective party stalwart from doing so. His conscience is still gnawing at him, but the ego of the man, in clinically psychological terms, is virulently at war with his superego. In other words, the problem of Bernard Allotey Jacobs is squarely one of a naturally born Statesman tragically caught in the mesh of pathological and congenital killers and criminals.
