JOY FM Bridal Fair Here Again

The Seventh edition of Ghana’s biggest specialised fair, the JOY FM Bridal Fair, will come off at the Accra International Conference Centre from Thursday, June 25 to Sunday, June 28.

Mr David Max-Fugar, Chairman of the Planning Committee for the fair stated that the premier radio station’s commitment to continuously identify and meet the needs of both exhibitors and the general public has led to a refinement and an improvement in some of the features of the fair.

The marriage seminar has been formatted to accommodate a discussion panel. On this year’s panel are Mrs. Aku Hayfron- a psychologist, Mrs Flora Sackey- a marriage counselor, Nana Oye Lithur -a lawyer and co-ordinator of the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, Rev. Dr. Samuel Kisseaddo, Rev. Ackon and Mr Amishadai Owusu-Amoah- Managing Director of Unibank Ghana Limited.

They will lead a debate on Faithfulness and Unfaithfulness in Marriage. The discussion will place special emphasis on the issues of sex and infertility, financial difficulties, communication and resolution of problems in marriage and parenting.

This year’s event brochure will feature a JOY FM weddings gallery and an exciting Agony Uncle page by Ato Kwamena Dadzie (Ghana’s only Agony Uncle!). New additions to this year’s fair include a special rendition of Ebo Whyte’s Unhappy Wives, Confused Husbands and a dream wedding give away in which a couple will win a full wedding worth GHC 20,000. The dream wedding give away is being run in partnership with Optimal hair relaxer.

The marriage seminar, fashion show and the bridal fair drama will all be on Saturday, June 27.
