Kofi Nti entertaining fans at the event Tema-based Adom FM in collaboration Zain, a mobile telecommunications network in Ghana, last Friday and Saturday organized a musical concert dubbed 'Adom/Zain Easter Fiesta' to entertain Kwahu citizens and friends who visited the Kwahu Mountains to celebrate the Easter.

This year's Easter at Kwahu was one of the most patronized commemorations which afforded people the opportunity to express their love in unique ways.

On Friday, the Ohenenana entertainment joint at Mpraeso was packed with people from all walks of life including music fans who danced their hearts out to music from some of the country's finest artistes.

Virtually every available space in the huge Ohenenana Classic and its immediate environs stretching to the main road was occupied.

On Saturday at Obomeng, the event attracted over thousands of music fans and holiday makers. The atmosphere on that day was charged as various artistes mounted the stage one after the other to thrill fans with their various hit-songs.

The artistes included Kofi B, Okyeame Kwame, Kwao Kese, Tic Tac, Reggie Zippy, Mframa, the almighty A-Plus and a host of others.

No matter where you were in the thick crowd, you could see couples doing their own thing - not just drinking, but the others as well.

Drunkenness was at its peak during the Easter celebration at Kwahu and a lot of indecent things were done to people in the name of socialization.

Much cannot be said about the dress code since most of the young ladies who attended the event were almost half-naked in the name of fashion.

In a related development, the Chiefs in the Kwahu Traditional Area have vowed to wage a war on indecent dressing during Easter festivities.

The opinion leaders complained bitterly about what they perceived to be indecent exposure of female body parts, particularly by a section of the youth, which according to them created a bad impression about the people of Kwahu.

To give weight to their words, the Chiefs of the area have issued a stern warning that anyone entering the Kwahu Ridge during any Easter season in a dress considered to be indecent would face instant arrest.

The Chief of Obo Kwahu who is also the Nifahene of the Kwahu Traditional Area, Nana Yeboah Afari Obuagyan II, made this known when the management of Adom FM paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.

He told the FM station's management that the police had been informed about this directive, adding that the Traditional Council met last week to deliberate on how to check the youth during the festivities, especially regarding their dressing.

He called on the media to join the campaign against indecent dressing, adding that what the country needed are spiritual and moral values, but not partisan politics.

The MP for Nkawkaw, Seth Adjei Baah assured the people that he was ready to support the communities with developmental projects.

He also advised the youth not to involve themselves in any act that could undermine their future and the progress of their various communities.
