Since we stepped into 2016, controversy has riddled Ghana’s first ever Afro-electric dance music artiste. Okuntakinte’s unique sound has been the talk of social media and has stirred a variety of trending topics from #MelaninGirls to his ‘Work’ video cover.

The Ghanaian music audience have adapted an interesting response to the new sound from Okuntakinte. The 19-year-old Afro-EDM artiste who basked onto the music scene some months ago with a bang amidst controversy has consistently still found a way of connecting with fans and critics alike. The varied opinions, trolls, bad and good reviews have not deterred Okuntakinte and have rather paved an opportunity for him to give Ghanaians a chance to step into his world.
