VGMA Board Are Not Real—Mclerk Spits Fire!

Mclerk the sensational gospel singer has expressed his opinion over this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He insists the board members of the VGMA really do not play their roles as professional critics, acting selfish in favour of few artists they admire.

Speaking to the artist, he said "there had been several occasions the board have been consistent in nominating few particular favourite artistes within the same categories. It is somehow funny to see an artiste being nominated at every year which the nation have no idea knowing the kind of song they played at that moment, simply meaning they are being partial."

He then made reference to Shatta wale's disqualification from this year's edition of the most loved show,indicating shatta wale has every right to be nominated and he deserved every category but the board took the rival between the musician and Charter House so personal that they couldn't even think about his records and historic effort this year.

He believes the vodafone music awards is always set to welcome and reward artistes who have worked so hard within the year, having been enjoying media hype,and regular radio airplay, video promotions to satisfaction the people of the country.

"If by so doing and an artist will still be ignored and be disqualified from the nomination then at what reason should we believe the VGMA is real, " he contended.
