Choosing to do gospel music, the young artiste, who goes by music name KobbySalm, has perfectly laced youthfulness with the genre, making it appealing to the new generation of music lovers.
With careful but giant strides, he is out with his first single, 'Wish I Could Sing,' a gospel rap song laid on a beautiful R&B beat.
KobbySalm told Myjoyonline.com in an interview that the song hammers on the importance of singing to the glory of God.
'Wish I Could Sing' “talks about me wishing to sing to praise God. I am a rapper and when I was called to the ministry, my major challenge was not being a good singer and in the environment I find myself, to be a good gospel singer and get accepted, you ought to know how to sing.”
“Also it's a lesson to people to push for more and not be complacent and wrestle for more,” he added.
The song, which he described a gospel hiphop was produced by Mr Vacs.
