Ace Ghanaian musician George Jahraa has said that Nana Kwame Ampadu and Obuoba J.A. Adofo are his mentors as far as his musical career is concern. He however added that internationally he admires the late Michael Jackson.

The ‘Ashikele’ hit maker made this declaration during GTV’s ‘Legends’ on Friday, October 2, 2015.

George Jahraa, the only Ghanaian musician to have rendered music in five local Ghanaian languages treated audience at the Friday’s edition of ‘The Legends’ with hit songs including ‘Driver Banza’, ‘Asor’ , ‘Ashikele’ and many others.

Quizzed on his diversity in language, he said he owed his multilingualism to the many transfers his father underwent as a military officer during his childhood.

The artiste who is eloquent in Hausa, Dagomba, Ewe, Akwapim and the Asanti Twi dialects further explained that besides spending most of his life in Suhum, his family at some point lived in the Volta, and Northern regions.

On how he comes up with his many lyrical creations, he revealed that he gets his music while resting at the beach.
