The art of radio broadcasting should be done with discipline and respect for all personnel involved in the production.

This is due to the fact that, it takes arguably, more than just the host or a presenter to make a show successful.

Most radio presenters in Ghana even find it so difficult giving credits to the producers of their shows, let alone the disc jockeys that help support their shows/programs by playing quality music to boot.

In each and every professional environment, distribution of labour is not taken for granted. Workers are attributed various position as to their individual skills and dexterity.

Therefore, all personnel should be given their due respect as far as their field of play is concerned. And when it comes to appreciation of its workers, Starr FM presenters lead the way.

They do so by showering praises on all personnel involve in their radio shows. The presenters are not scared or shy by giving credits to the disc jockeys helping from behind the scenes.

That is why names such as DJ Mono and DJ Vyrusky are making waves all over. In turn, they will stick to their duties as disc jockeys than rushing to become unprofessional presenters, just to be heard.

In effect, these criteria Starr FM has chosen will help the free flow of programs to be well produced with respect to division of labour.

Bola Ray, Naa Ashokor and some others do it. But the way Anita Erskine heaped praises in appreciation for all involved in the production of the ‘Starr Drive’ last week, was just unbelievable.

Her energy, delivery and flow was simply the best.
