The founder and leader of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre at Ahenema Kokoben, in the Ashanti Region, Rev. Dr. Opambour Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as 'Prophet One,' is in the news again.

The vociferous 'Man of God' virtually threw radio etiquette and decency to the dogs, and launched a vituperative verbal attack on a colleague evangelist, using unprintable and uncomplimentary words that George Carlin, the notorious American comedian and satirist, would probable find difficult to utter.

This time round, the object of Rev. Yiadom's latest verbal abuse was a young up and coming evangelist, Akwasi Awuah, who was reported to have taken a swipe at Prophet One on another radio station, Boss 93.7 FM, in Kumasi.

The 'Prophet of God' was at his insulting best on Mercury 91.5FM, a radio station he privately owns yesterday morning, when he subjected his 'antagonist' to verbal attacks, describing him as a dog who was not fit to eat with human beings.

'How can an impotent, an imbecile and a stupid fool, whose sperms cannot fertilize a baby, sit on radio and insult me? He has bitten more than he can chew, and I will show him that when it comes to insults, I have mastered in it,' Rev. Yiadom raved and ranted.

Prophet One, who was receiving inspiration and moral support from his staff at the radio station, continued, ' Who born you by mistake, how can you Akwasi Awuah who eats with dogs have the audacity to sit on radio and insult me?' he charged.

'Someone should tell that imbecile that he has bitten more than he can chew. I am going to give it to that foolish man who calls himself a pastor, that animal (specifically mentioning Fox), someone should tell him that if he thinks he has a foul mouth, I have more than that,' he roared.

Boasting of possessing God's gifted powers, Prophet One 'declared war' on Evangelist Awuah, and threatened he would invoke the curses of God on his attacker.

'He says he is powerful, we shall see, this is just the beginning; if he doesn't take care, I will curse him,' he threatened.

According to information gathered by The Chronicle, Evangelist Awuah, who features regularly on Boss FM, was reported to have accused Rev. Yiadom of lacking any spiritual prowess, and that he (Ebenezer) was not to able to cure his late father who died a blind man.

The rift between the two supposed men of God was said to have begun after Rev. Yiadom criticized a popular Gospel song titled 'Mebo Wo Din' composed by one Brother Sammy, whose singing style and voice are similar to that of Prophet One.

According to information, Prophet One reportedly invited the artiste, Sammy, who is also a good friend of the young Evangelist, to come over to him so he could give him some advice concerning the song, but Sammy allegedly declined, and this infuriated Rev. Yiadom who subsequently decided to criticize the song on his radio programme.

Being a friend of Sammy, Evangelist Awuah was said to have taken strong exception to the action of Rev. Yiadom, and also decided to fire back at him, generating the verbal war between the two.

Apart from attacking Rev. Yiadom for allegedly not taking care of his late father, Evangelist Awuah also cast insinuations at Prophet One, accusing him of many things.

Meanwhile, Prophet Ebenezer has sent a strong notice that he would summon Evangelist Awuah before the Asantehene for denigrating his late father, and further institute legal action against him for defaming his personal character.

'My father was a man of dignity; someone who lived 96 years of exemplary life worthy of emulation,' Prophet One noted soberly.
