Twenty-two-year-old Geraldine Partington aka Gerry, an undergraduate of the University of Ghana who won last year's Miss Malaika beauty pageant held at the Accra International Conference Centre, has received her prize at a short ceremony held at the offices of GH One Television in Accra last Wednesday.

Gerry's prize package include a one-year supply of ATL Inspiration  fabrics, a hamper from UB Hair Products, GH¢6,000 cash prize, a brand new KIA Cerato car from  Rana Motors and a return air ticket from Air Namibia to either South Africa or Namibia.

The first runner- up, Alexandra Ayirebi-Acquah, received a set of living room furniture from Simbim's Furniture, a hamper from UB Hair Products and ATL inspiration fabrics, a cash prize of GH¢2,000 and a return air ticket from Air Namibia to South Africa or Namibia.

The other seven winners were also presented with their prizes at the ceremony.

They all received GH¢1,000.00  with hampers from UB Hair Products and fabrics from ATL Inspiration, as well as free tickets to South Africa or Namibia since they couldn't embark on their trip to an African country, which is a tradition for the top 10 finalists of Miss Malaika each year.
