One of Ghana's seasoned radio presenters, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey aka Abeiku Santana of Okay FM, was last Saturday honoured with an Honorary Doctor of Humanities in recognition of his contribution to the Christian Ministry and Leadership by the Pan African Clergy Council and Bible Seminary.

Two others, Maurice Kwabena Ampaw, a lawyer and Rev. Prince Emmanuel Atsu Agbesi, a minister with the Bible Seminary, were also honoured at a ceremony held at the Trans Continental Assemblies of God Church located on the Spintex Road in Accra.

Looking rather humbled and overwhelmed as he was being honoured, Abeiku, who was accompanied by family members, friends and colleagues, was full of praise to God.

'I feel so honoured. I thank the Almighty God for giving me strength and I thank every human being in every part of this world who has supported me in diverse ways to get this far. I never in my entire life imagined that such a reputable Christian body will take cognizance of what I do. I feel so motivated and encouraged. I do a lot of humanitarian work on my own, feeding and sheltering children and women,' Abeiku Santana told reporters after the ceremony.

Dr. Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey aka Abeiku Santana holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, DS in Criminal Law, Advanced Certificate in Public Relations and Advertising, an Associate in Legal Services and Litigation and Associate ACIM.

He established his own business support firm, Strategic Communications about 7 years ago, to identify young unemployed graduates for events, advertising, public relations and human resources.
