AS PART of measures to provide a wider range of hospitality services to meet the need of its customers, the management of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel has added a new restaurant to its existing seven restaurants and bars, as well as a casino.

The restaurant, Royal Dragon Chinese Restaurant, is expected to offer traditional Chinese cuisines to customers.

Last Friday, the restaurant was opened with a sizeable party for industry guests and the inky fraternity, who did not only have a taste of palatable Chinese dishes; they also got a tour of the facility.

The upscale restaurant is situated on the hotel's wide green lawns, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with a superb view of another refurbished restaurant, Ghanaian Village.

Its chefs are not only well trained, they are experienced enough to take Chinese dinning to a different level.

Its architecture and décor creates a rich, comforting and beautiful ambiance with Chinese-themed red accents and paintings, table candles and flowers, soothing background music and classic table setting – a rather unique environment.

Dinner choices range from fine selections of cold and hot appetizers to crab with Black Pepper and vegetarian dishes. For those with adventurous palates, Royal Dragon's wide-ranging menu of over 120 items also offers Japanese and Indonesian delicacies.

An exciting wine list also awaits customers from every part of the world including countries like Italy, South Africa, Australia, Chile and France.

The 120-seater restaurant will be open for business each day from 6pm to 11pm. By Francis Addo
