James Gardiner & Tonto Dike Want To Host American Idol

James Gardner is one of the few Ghanaian Movie stars who entered into the entertainment industry through radio and television presentation.

Throughout last month, he has been one of the actors who has received much criticism from entertainment fans after he and Tonto Dike hosted the stand Up Gh concert which featured American artistes Bow wow and keri Hilson.

Most of the fans we spoke to after the Stand Up Gh concert, revealed to us that James Gardiner lacked qualities of an MC and in actual sense added nothing to the show.

However, in a chat with the fast growing Ghanaian actor and television presenter James Timothy Gardner, He told us that opinions are like onions and everyone is entitled to one.

'We live in a world where you will have people who will choose to like you or hate you when you go wrong, and you can't stop anyone from critiquing your work' he said.

He added that although his employees (Imajin Advertising) thanked him and assured him that they will give him more jobs, he also realized that he did a good job even before the organizers; Thank you message came to him. 'Just like football, if a player doesn't perform on the field he will know even before supporters start to criticize him' he grieved.

As to some of the comments he received from fans after the show, he stated that he hasn't received any objective criticisms, but rather the only comments that came from some industrial players were as to why he created humors' on stage with Majid Michel and Nadia Buari's and the answer he gave them was that, they were the only people he saw.

He also stated that he was looking forward to emcee 'American Idols' and he is working hard to accomplish that dream.
