EXCLUSIVE: 9ice, Toni Payne's Break-Up A Planned Work--Insider

According to gist getting to Nollywoodgists.com by those in the know close to both singer, 9ice, and his artiste manager estranged wife, Toni Payne, their January 2010 separation was just a planned work.

Gist from sources told Nollywoodgists.com that Toni Payne agreed to a plan by 9ice to come up with a separation hoax just to help boost his music career, which was almost dwindling at that time.

This, we learnt, generated some arguments between the then couple, but for love for him, she finally succumbed to his request.

We were also reliably told that Toni Payne was in ID Cabasa's studio when 9ice recorded his controversial track, Once Bitten, which eventually helped the sale of his late 2009 Tradition album release, which eventually picked up after their separation tale.

According to further gist, Cabasa was said to have advised against the lyrics of the song, but 9ice insisted in doing it, a decision Cabasa later agreed to when Toni Payne didn't object to it.

Multiple sources confirmed to us that contrary to a line in Once Bitten track that said 'you're bisexual but what am I gonna do? I can't tell mummy neither can I tell daddy...', Toni Payne is not bisexual.

We also learnt that both 9ice and Toni Payne have been meeting secretly since their reported break-up. We were informed that Toni Payne is truly presently pregnant and has concluded plans to travel to the United States of America soon after 9ice's concert in March.

Though what is still very unclear and mysterious about all these is about 9ice's Abuja based baby mama, Vicky Godis who has reportedly bore the singer a set of twins. 9ice talks only about his first child, Zion, a product of Toni Payne.

He is very quick to open up on anything that links him with Toni Payne while nothing is being said about his baba mama in Abuja.

There have been rumour lately of a come-back between Toni Payne and 9ice. She was reported last year to have relocated to 9ice's Abule-Egba home.

Toni Payne has recently been doing publicity work for 9ice. She has also been heavily promoting his March 11 concert with great enthusiasm.

Toni Payne and 9ice got married in 2008 but separated in January 2010. They gave irreconcilable differences for their separation. Their union produced a child, Zion, while it lasted.
