Female porters, popularly called Kayayo, keep trooping into the city of Accra from the northern part of Ghana. They come in search of greener pastures.
In Accra they go through lots of hardships though. They live and work in the market area and don't have anywhere to go after work.
This video shows their life on the market, their woes, and their reason for migrating to the city.

THE ISSUE OF KAYAYO IS A DISGREASE TO THE PEOPLE OF NORTH AND THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. WHO WIIL LISTING TO THEM. THY WANT THE OUTHORITIES TO PROMOTE THE SHEA NUT LIKE ANY OTHER CASH CRUOPS IN THE COUNTRY ,ESPECIALY COCOA.
