Kafui Adzah, CEO of Cookhouse GH is undoubtedly a lead player when it comes to food entrepreneurship in Ghana.

Her flagship initiative "Waakye On Wheels" which delivers waakye to clients at the comfort of thier homes and offices still stands as one of the most innovative initiative that Ghana has seen in the food industry.

In 2016, she was listed as the 27th most influential young Ghanaian and have since been invited to speak on various events to empower the youth.

She has been catering for events and serves lunch to corporate institutions and hotels.

These acheivements were not inherited, she had to defy the odds, struggle, persevere to truimph.

In her facebook this year she narrated her journey to realising the success of Cookhouse.

According to her Facebook post, she had failed in her marriage and modules but was optimistic of the future ahead.

"I cried out because I was dying inside me. I lost my home to a court order and I was homeless, I spent cold nights in my shop at trade fair, my daughter and I squattered there for many months, each night she would tell me, "Mama you are my hero" I know you will be happy " she said in the post .

At a point, she had to squat with her daughter in an incomplete building which she decided to work to pay and own the house.

Unfortunately same year, according to her, she lost the house to the June 3 disaster which would mean losing all her properties including University certificates.

She was obviously shattered but forged on.
"I fell into a deep sleep one day and had a dream, which was "Waakye on Wheels. " Dream to walk on the uncharted path, dream to be different from the usual. I called Seloart and under 30 minutes he came out with a logo for "Waakye On wheels," she noted.

" I knew "Waakye on Wheels" was divine, this product gave me life, this product outdoored me to the world, I met great people through this product. I achieved all these by dying to so many things, I persevered, I was tenacious, I was focused, I never gave up on my dreams. I fell many times, I slept on empty stomach many times, I wore one shoe for many years, but I was determined."

Today, Cook House is one of the leading catering companies in Ghana catering for corporate institutions and events in Ghana.

Under Cookhouse is Asanka Soups and Akosombo Bar.
