Finding a good and honest "fitta" or a car mechanic is one of the most difficult task in Ghana, as much as searching for a tailor or a capenter.

However, one Facebook user, Kojo A. Boateng drew all attention to his page after sharing a post on how he met a car mechanic who exhibited a sense of professionalism, resourcefulness and honesty while servicing his car for him.

The Facebook post which was all praises for the car mechanic by name, Nimo was shared on October 13, andd currently has over 3K Likes and 775 Shares.

Boateng lamented how on countless occasions, car mechanics have dissapointed him, messed up his car engine, and how he spent a lot of money on other mechanics but achieved no desired results.

Frustrated, he got a new car and a friend introduced him to the resourceful mechanic by name Nimo. That would mark an end to his "woes" and the beginning of a "new life" in getting a good and trustworthy mechanic.

After the post on Facebook, a lot of praises went towards Nimo with other Facebook users recounting similar experiences with mechanics.

While some asked for Nimo's contact, although visibly available in his (Boateng) post, others were proposing to build an ultra-modern workshop for him.

Read Kojo A. Boateng's post below and you will understand why this Mechanic is all over Facebook.

"Two years ago, I gave my VW Crossfox to a mechanic to change my oil, filters and do rountine maintenance.

That was the beginning of my nightmare.
Opana played games with my engine and messed it up completely.

Mechanic after mechanic I got no solution. Spent quite a lot of money but nothing happened.

Met one Agbenyefia and Ibrahim, around Light House Qodesh. They also played games with me. They took money to buy 'half bloc' of the engine and took a lot of my money but failed miserably. They would not answer my calls, reply my messages or even see me.

I was frustrated...very frustrated....so I organized a tow truck and brought the car home.

Truth is, I love(d) the crossfox. It's smooth, fuel efficient and comfortable so I wasn't ready to let it go.

Then I got a Hyundai Accent, courtesy Richard Torku. K Elorm Kwakofi introduced me to Nimo, the gentleman in the shot, to service it for me.

Nimo would pick the car up whenever it was due for servicing. He'd work on it, fix any other thing he deemed necessary, wash it and return it in one piece...with your fuel at the same level it was when he took it.

Nimo serviced my accent for me for a year. Never had an issue with the accent and his charges were also very cool.

Along the line, another mechanic came to try his hands on the crossfox. He did his best but no results. So one day, I mentioned it to Nimo and he promised to fix it.

He got it towed to his workshop and started the search for a new engine and parts.

So I came asking for help on Facebook and a close friend here offered to help. After several months and a couple of stories and unfortunate events, he brought me an engine and parts from Nigeria.

That engine is still lying here. It didn't fit...it didn't work...about 3500 cedis lost.

A month ago, Nimo called. He had finally found an engine and had made an initial deposit. I didn't have any cash on me then but he went ahead to look for funds to buy it and get the vehicle fixed.

Earlier today, I took the vehicle on a test drive and it was amazing!

Felt as good as new with everything intact.
He actually got me a sweet 1.4L engine, fixed the AC, lights and getting ready to wash it tomorrow

I've never met a mechanic as resourceful and honest as Nimo.

If you ever need a very good mechanic, contact him....I vouch for him. 0249835620.

He works at Adjiringanor, behind the F9 car wash (former Mukase Chic).

I'm excited that we still do have honest mechanics like Nimo. May God bless him with success and a couple of things."
