    Noni juice comes from the noni tree found throughout Polynesia. It is also called Indian mulberry. Research says people from Polynesia have been using noni juice and fruit for their health benefits for many years. However, Noni became popular in the United States in the 1990s.

    In Ghana, noni is now entering the market as organic food advocates are educating the public on its health benefits.

    1. Research suggests that noni juice has anti-cancer qualities that prevent cancer.
    2. Noni juice extends its therapeutic effects in curing gout.
    3. Noni juice is known to improve cardiovascular health by exerting dilating effects on the blood vessels by comforting the smooth muscles cells within the cells walls resulting in a better flow of blood in the arteries.
    4. It reduces fatigue and improves overall physical performance of the body.
    5. Noni juice brings relief in inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and cures memory impairment.
    6. Research also proves that it helps to control diabetes.
    7. It is also known to be a natural aid in beauty and skin care and prevents wrinkles from forming.

    With its enormous benefits come its side effects.

    According to other research work, noni juice should be avoided by people battling kidney, heart, and liver disease. Additionally, its sugar content makes it riskier for people with diabetes to take.

    There is also no clear evidence that pregnant women, nursing mothers, children, and those with medical conditions can take noni juice.
